Your Ductless System Experts
All Daikin ductless cooling systems feature sleek, wall-mounted indoor units paired with quiet, compact outdoor units.
As the name suggests, a mini-split/ductless system is a split system with components located both inside and outside the home. Unlike traditional split HVAC systems, ductless units do not use air ducts to distribute air throughout your home. Instead, a ductless air conditioner is designed to heat or cool a single room, zone, or an addition to your home that lacks or cannot accommodate ductwork.
Powered by electricity, these systems consist of a small outdoor condensing unit and a compact indoor evaporator unit that mounts to your preferred surface. Mini-split ACs are unobtrusive, easy to install, and simple to operate. The term “mini” refers to the indoor unit's small size and inconspicuous appearance. The indoor and outdoor components are connected via copper refrigerant tubing and electrical wiring, requiring an opening of just three inches or less in diameter.
Renowned for their energy efficiency and extremely popular outside the United States, where ducted HVAC systems are rare, mini-split/ductless systems are an excellent option for attics or garages converted into living spaces, or for home additions that would otherwise require extending existing ductwork.
